Murals in Blue
It all starts with a woman in a red dress standing before a blue wall. The wall was littered with detailed textures and reliefs of supernatural creatures. A random result from MJ, which gave me an inspirational kick.

Even as a child, I was fascinated by the idea of what would happen if there was no boundary between the image being viewed and the viewer. If murals came to life and broke down the boundary between fiction and reality.
Would you be drawn into the painting or would the creatures in the painting jump into my world? Would it be possible to wander between these worlds?
I liked the idea of realizing this idea with MJ.
Combining real human bodies with fictional creatures from murals and letting them interact with each other.
This resulted in some very unusual images of creatures and strange beings reaching out for human bodies; caressing, grabbing, slobbering.

Different settings of Stylize (--s), Chaos (--c) and Weird have achieved very different results. But the style of combining the fictional and real worlds remains the same for the most part.
When you think of murals, you immediately think of street art. How would these images be translated in the style of various street artists?
I referenced the most famous street artist in the style description of the prompt.

Then I remembered the powerful, figurative works of the artist Mark Demsteader.
I remembered the surface textures of his depictions of the female figure. Innocent, erotic and enigmatic.
That fitted. I referenced him in the style description of the next prompt.

It occurred to me to trim the prompts in the direction of three-dimensional fresco painting from the Gothic, Renaissance or Baroque periods.
That can only be exciting!

And then came Style Tuner.
With the latest update in the week of Helloween, MJ released a new feature, the so-called Style Tuner.
With this feature you can generate your prompt in 16, 32, 64 or 128 different style tunings.
You then have the option of referencing your prompt to the selected style, setting style combinations and generating new styles from them, etc. Of course I had to test this.
/tune a large blue mural, in the style of macabre realism in the post modern gothic era, zbrush, primitive figurines, feminine sculpture, low depth of field
Allright, let's take this image style and play around with chaos and different stylize settings.

And it could go on and on like this ...
It is INSANE!
MJ is a never-ending creation machine of impressive images in an almost immeasurable wealth of variations ... you have to force yourself to stop.
And that's what I'm doing now.
Thank you very much for your time. Feel free to leave your thoughts and give 👏🏻 applause if it touched 🫶🏻 you. Follow me for the next explorations with Midjourney.
