Road Beauties — so fresh and so cool.

She was the one at fault, straight up. A series runnin’ 60 episodes, spreadin’ across six seasons, got my mind runnin’ wild and sparked me to dive deep into this thing. Snow-Fall — that show, man, paintin’ the backdrop of 80s LA.

My own memories from back then came floodin’ back. It was a time of bright colors and wild patterns, all soaked up with Miami Vice, Magnum, and Knight Rider. Them curls, the workout vibes, rollin’ on skates, and them broad-shouldered jackets — that was the style. Grace Jones, Prince, Molokko, N.D.W., and N.W.A. — that was the music scene.

Snow-Fall, with its 60 episodes, nailed down the vibe of the 80s right in South Central Los Angeles. The warm glow of the Pacific coast, the unique characters rockin’ their gear, the interior designs, the spots around town, and them street scenes — all kept my eyes locked.

But the real deal for me in the 70s and 80s? Them American cruisers. Metal, chrome, paint, and rubber comin’ together as art. True road beauties takin’ over the streets, bringin’ back that nostalgic fire for a time that was just as wild, lively, experimental, and expressive as the cultural wave it rode on.

Have a blast back in the 80s, for real!
